STRESS KILLS!

Why DeStress Bootcamp?

You probably recognize stress is some way that is special to you.  Perhaps you feel anxious, or overwhelmed, or depressed.  These are all signs that your nervous system is overloaded.  

An overloaded nervous system is trying to protect you from the outside world.  It directs your energy to "threats" rather than to taking care of routine functions in your body. Unfortunately, if this protection goes on too long, your body will start breaking down. It is this sequence that creates the headline, "STRESS KILLS."


Often the debilitation of stress just creeps up, and the internal damage quietly spreads before it is recognized.  You might recognize some of the symptoms, such as headaches, poor digestion, poor sleep, irritability, lack of concentration . . . the list goes on.


Can this be reversed? Or prevented? YES! However, you have to be aware, have a plan and work with it!  Your body and mind have to be prepared to handle stress.  The good news is that de-stressing  your own nervous system has a ripple effect on those around  you.  You will be a calming influence.


In our 4 weeks together, we will learn to recognize “stress” and develop physical tools to shift from *Distressed & Distracted* to *Relaxed & Tuned-In*.

We will come to appreciate how our thoughts affect our physiology, our actions, and our results, and how to shift our thoughts to work for our benefit.

Stress contracts our bodies and restricts our breath, thus creating even more stress.  To change this, 

• We will learn simple  movement routines to open our bodies to breathe more easily.

• We will learn and practice  relaxing breathing patterns.

• We will learn to re-pattern our thoughts to shift our physiology and reactions.

• By the fourth week, you will have created your own physical and mental "Instant Re-Set Practice" that you can use anywhere, any time.

Your Mission

 Would you love to shift from feeling stressed to feeling blessed? Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create, within 28 days, your own instant re-set ritual and install basic tools so that you can bounce back and thrive, no matter what.
